Project Overview
In 2025, Climatalist pivoted from solely creating technology companies to becoming a venture studio, backed by a family office, focused on accelerating the climate transition through strategic company formation. We accomplish this through direct investment in external companies and incubation of new ventures internally.
As Head of Product for the venture studio, I lead the 0-1 incubation, go-to-market strategy, and technology development across our portfolio. In 2025, we successfully launched 4 companies:
- AI Knowledge Platform - The previously mentioned technology platform transforming climate knowledge access
- Regenerative Agriculture Media Company - Highlighting the economics of regenerative agriculture across New Zealand
- Farm Transition Services - A technology enabled services firm helping farmers transition to regenerative agriculture, starting in NZ
- Energy Advisory - A technology enabled advisory company for the energy industry
Additionally, we've made strategic investments in health and wellness CPG companies that align with our mission.
Our vision: Not only grow the AI knowledge platform as its own company, but build technology enabled service companies on top of the technology. As the knowledge platform grows, these companies can provide unique offerings and new products leveraging the underlying technology. The theory is that each company works in unison, creating a flywheel effect where the success of one amplifies the others.
The Challenge
The climate transition faces a critical knowledge transfer problem. Despite massive investments in research and content creation, valuable insights remain buried in static PDFs, inaccessible recordings, and fragmented repositories. Organizations struggle to:

Early Market Validation
To validate our event knowledge platform concept, we partnered with Sydney Climate Action Week to transform their Investment & Innovation Summit into an interactive knowledge hub. This early experiment proved the viability of our AI-powered approach to event content transformation.
Working with Greenhouse Climate Hub, we processed the summit's content into searchable summaries and an interactive knowledge base, demonstrating how events can create lasting value beyond their live duration.
